A new beginning. . .

New Work ~ Seabird, a novel.
Hello readers. I am almost finished with, Seabird, a novel that takes place in the Ceram Sea in Indonesia.During the writing of Seabird, I realized how much I'm influenced by my own characters. That's right, as writers, our characters really do influence the way we, as authors, act and react in real day-to-day life situations. I look up to my heroes and heroines and actually learn from them. We writers labor over how our heroes act, sometimes spending hundreds of hours perfecting their fictional lives. Believe it or not, I look up to my heroes. They make me tougher and more thoughtful. Anyway, I thought I'd share that little tidbit.
